Automated Export Documentation System (AEDS)
The Automated Export Documentation System (AEDS) or the Electronic Export Documentation System (EEDS) allows exporters to easily process their Export Declaration (ED) documents. This system makes use of a Single Administrative Document (SAD), an integrated electronic document where exporters enter details of their exports. Using one single document reduces the administrative burden and increases the standardization and harmonization of data being collected. The system speeds up the processing of EDs and minimizes face-to-face contact with government offices.
